I dont know whats with the prior comment BUT my daughter has had this stuffed animal since the day she was born (she is now 1) and it has been through numerous loads of laundry and drug every where and it has yet to fall apart! My daughter loves it!! I would recommend this stuffed animal to anyone of any age.

The specifics stated that this item was safe for ages 3 months to 5 years. I don't think it is. It has little nobs for eyes, no doubt securely glued, but accidents can happen. also the foot pads are made of an almost papery material, and in 2 of the feet, I could feel some sort of little pebbles. A lot of them. My one-year old friend will not be receiving this toy till she's at least 3.
