Beautiful music, January 15, 2001
This review is from: Mary Reilly (Audio CD)
I haven't seen this movie yet, so can't comment on how the music fares in terms of the film. But I do know that this is a very beautiful score. It makes me want to see the movie. Composed by George Fenton and performed by The London Symphony Orchestra with Lucia Lin and Janice Graham on solo violins, this is a very haunting, and emotional album. Also some quite suspenseful moments too, that makes you know that in the film, something is about to happen. I really do have to see this film. In fact, I'm gonna go look in the tv guide right now...maybe I'll be lucky.

What Can One Say?, October 27, 2007
This review is from: Mary Reilly (Audio CD)
While I don't yet own this soundtrack, I was very pleased to find that it's available here on Amazon. That aside I own the movie, and what struck me the most out of the entire film (other than all the things happening in it) was this score. There's a particular set of scenes between Mary and Hyde where the music fits perfectly, almost like a haunting love theme befitting of the pair. I look forward to owning this, sorry if the review wasn't helpful, but I had to say something about it becuase I love it so much :)
