I have followed and appreciated Mary Mary from the very beginning. But I have to say this third set of theirs hooked me from the very first spin. Listening to it again for the tenth time is what inspired this review.

The diversity of music, the maturity of the vocals, and excellent production make this one a keeper for me. In fact, this is the best urban gospel project yet that I've personally heard for 2005. From beginning to end, every song is either good or an absolute knockout. For my taste, this set perfectly balances the line between modern trends without distracting from The Subject of the music.

That said, this isn't a perfect CD overall. This set is much shorter that their prior two. But it's better to have a short and brief playlist of terrific songs rather than 20 mediocre ones.

And thankfully, this edition of the CD means you don't have to be concerned about the copy-protection that caused people so many problems.

Bottom line: if you want a good spiritual CD that gives you a wide range of musical styles with a strong contemporary flair delivered by young people that are obviously carrying The Message with authority, look no further. This is destined to be a classic and should be as well-remembered as their first two efforts.

This album didn't catch my attention right away but after listening to the album all the way through I realized that this album is flawless. The thought provoking words, catchy melodies and top notch production values make this album a timeless classic. With songs like yesterday, And I, Beliver and Heaven this will be in your cd player for a long time to come.

I have all three of Mary Mary's Cd's and I have to disagree with some of the reviewers.. I believe that with each CD there was progression and in my opinion this is the best CD that they have done so far I believe that they are a perfect example that you can be saved and still be fly....you dont have to compromise your standards and show off your everything to be accepted.. I love and support them 100%.... and I say you go gurls!

I absolutely adore this CD! It is very inspirational and uplifting which is exactly the type of music I need to hear on a regular basis. The members of Mary Mary have exceptional range and they sing with such passion! This album and "The Sound" are my favorite CD's by them and I pray that they will continue to make fantastic music for us to listen to. If you don't own this, BUY IT NOW!!

I had never purchased a CD by Mary, Mary because I thought they were too contemporary for my taste in Gospel music. I selected this CD at first for the cut "Yesterday" and it certainly lives up to its expectations. However, I have been blessed by many more of the songs on this album. As a matter of fact, the first day that I shared CD with my best friend, I gave the CD to her (because she was so blessed). I then purchased the CD again for myself locally so that I would not be without the CD (could not wait to receive the replacement in mail again).

Mary Mary CD was very uplifting and inspiring. You should definitely add this one to your collection of gospel music. Many of their CD's have been soul stirring, this one I highly recommend. The tune " Yesterday " is quite a deep down soul searchin sound. This CD was uplifting to say the least. The songs on the CD brings great joy when and if you feel lonly, depressed or just drain. Listen to this CD and I'm sure the oil within your lamp will be refilled and overflow. If you haven't picked this CD up yet.... I suggest you buy it.... their is no need to 2nd guess whether or not it's worth it, it definitely is!! You will find yourself hand clapping, feet stompin within your home.

I love MaryMary a lot but this CD wasn't doing it with me. Their two previous efforts were definitely better with "Thankful" being their best. The album wasn't long enough, buy the time you was getting your praise on, the album was done. The songs weren't as relatable to the younger crowd than "Thankful". The best songs on the album are "Heaven", "Yesterday", and "Save Me". It was a decent effort, but I would like to see the old MaryMary back.

Simply put, this is the best musical listening experience I've had in a while.

Mary Mary is incredible! They have done it again for the third time! Their music is excellent, It specifies Christ, and it is just what a christian would want to listen to. With their music, they can minister to the unsaved and win souls to Christ. Their music is more than a melody, the beats and the instruments to the music are heart-warming, and their voices knocks me out. I never have and never will get tired of Mary Mary's music. They inspire me to truly grow in the Lord, and listening to their music makes me excited because I can't wait to get into the music business because I want to sing of God's mercy, grace, and love. I love to praise him. But now, I give Mary Mary 2 thumbs up and I engourage them to keep at it, keep on praising God, and that I will see them when I get there and when god comes back to meet us in the air. God bless you Mary Mary, and I have lots of love for you two!

I loved it the first time I listened. The musical diversity is impressive. There's a range from jazz to hip hop beats; beautiful and inspiring, to energizing and uplifting productions. I must also acknowledge the lyrical content, which in my opinion is exactly on point.

I bought this CD because I liked "Yesterday" when I heard it on the radio. I was disappointed to find a different version of this song on the CD. The CD version has an accompaniment heavy in violins and horns, whereas in the radio version, the piano is the dominant (or only) accompaniment. The CD version is still nice, but much less powerful in my opinion.

Despite my disappointment, I really enjoyed this CD and recommend it to anyone.
