They don't even taste like a pretzel!
Michael Voshell
Something tastes a little burnt to me and some of the seeds are like pebbles - really hard to chew thoroughly.

I picked these up for my daughter who is gluten free. A friend of mine told me about these. I finally decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. Was looking for a pretzel replacement for her. These things shouldn't be good. Yes, they have a nutty/overdone taste to them. They have hard seeds. But that's why they are so good! That's why they are so addicting. They satisy that crunchy, salty need. And they are probably 100 times better for you than a standard pretzel!

I originally tasted these as a sample at Whole Foods. I immediately bought several bags. They are very crunchy, which I like. They are also a healthy snack with just the right amount of salt. Even though I am a gluten eater, I love this snack!

These are great and for a gluten-free snack that is not full of additives, corn, etc. this really helps keep those cravings to crunch and eat breads and chips away... I have been eating healthy for many years now though & could see how if you think you eat healthy, but still haven't cut out preservatives, sugars, corn, etc. you might not be ready for this healthier treat... although with soy still included I wouldn't consider it super healthy, but we're getting closer :)

I decided to try these after reading a blurb about them in our newspaper. It's hard to compare them to pretzels, other than the shape. I'm so-so about pretzels (I find them boring), but these are anything but boring. The crunch is absolutely addictive. Even my husband, who is less than forgiving about "healthy food that tastes too healthy", loves them. We bought a second bag at the grocery store (4.49 per bag) before deciding that buying them by the case (at 3.46 per bag) was definitely the way to go. My only hesitation in doing so was wondering how far out the expiration dates would go. I'm hoping that the expiration date on the shipment of 12 is at least 2 to 3 months in the future. Don't let me down, Amazon!

Flavor Name: Curry
Let me preface this by saying that I absolutely love curry and I tend to prefer the taste of gluten-free things to their wheat-containing counterparts (breads, pancakes, cookies, cakes, etc). So when I saw these on sale at my local grocery store, I thought, Ah, these must be on sale because people just assume they taste bad because they're gluten-free! Classic foolishness of the masses weaned on Cheetos and Doritos. Fools, all of them!

Alas the only fool here was me. I realized this as soon as I popped one in my mouth. The texture of these sticks and twigs are like... sticks and twigs, yes. Give them a truth in marketing award, but hold the culinary award. It was okay at first, but there was a bitter aftertaste that tasted like medicine and made my face scrunch up. Then it stayed scrunched up the whole time I ate these (not long).

They're healthy, yes - hence the extra star. But at what cost? Why suffer such godawful tasting snacks to extend your life if it will just be an endless chain of things that taste like this?

Now that I've stopped eating this thing, my only concern is what to do with the leftovers i.e. pretty much the whole bag. I guess the correct answer is to give them to my worst enemy, but I don't think I know anyone I hate that much. Evil-doers, maybe, but it might just get them more angry and make them do more evil things. So don't waste your time inventing a time machine and going back to give these to Hitler. Just... trust me.

Flavor Name: Sea Salt
As you might be able to tell by other reviews, this is a snack that you either love or despise.

I personally love these pretzel sticks; They have a fantastic crunch to them, and I like the texture of having larger seeds (flax, millet, quinoa, etc.) intact to crunch on their own. There's just enough salt on them so that they are pleasantly tart but not overwhelming. They are also extremely healthy and relatively filling.

Some dislike the taste - a friend said they tasted like baking soda. Many complain about how hard they are - and they are very, very crunchy and some are a bit tough. But if neither of these bother you, you may end up addicted... like me.

The bottom line: go buy them in your local Whole Foods or Wegmans before ordering a whole 12 bags. That being said, if you do in fact like them, you will, in all likelihood, find yourself back here buying them in bulk.

This product has the best ingregidents you are going to find
n any "junk food" or "snack food" period.

You won't need to eat the whole bag to feel satisfied.

You won't feel any "side effects" after eating them,
like getting brain fatigue or feeling tired, like you
would with other snack foods.

You feel like you are eating something healthy, because you are.

If you are into healthy eating these will be for you. Even if you aren't you will likely enjoy them. I can't eat gluten and I love these. I often bring them to family events with hummus and inevitably everyone ends up eating these instead of the chips. All my kids like them- they are 11, 10, 8 & 1. If they are kid approved you know they aren't as bad as a previous reviewer stated.
