Marcela Gandara's debut album is an absolute knock-out!!!!!!!! Her voice is fascinating; her phrasing is right on the money and her soft and pleasant spirit is felt throughout the entire CD.
On top of this (if that wasn't enough), the majority of the songs are written by Jesus Adrian Romero -and some by Marcela herself-, and the Producer here is Master Jazz Guitarist Kiko Cibrian; these two additions are the perfect combination for an outstanding recording.
I've been listening to Christian music in Spanish for many years now, and I can mention without exaggeration that this is perhaps the best Christian album ever recorded by a female singer - BY FAR -. If you doubt it, get your CD and give it a try, that's all it'll take.

P.S. Cuts like: "Supe Que Me Amabas", "Mas Que un Anhelo" and "Tu Palabra" shook me at the very core of me; they're amazing.

You don't have to understand the words to feel the anointing. I am learning Spanish and wanted to purchase a Christian music CD in Spanish. Not knowing what to buy, I just walked into a Spanish Christian bookstore one day and this CD was playing at the time. The music was so beautiful that I bought it. I immediately played the CD in my car and without understanding a single word, I cried because it was just so beautiful. I found one of the songs online and shared the link with a native Spanish speaker and they cried too. So whether you understand the words or not, you will feel the anointing. I am slowly learning the words but I have listened to this CD so much that I can sing some of the songs even though I don't understand everything yet. What a wonderful way to learn Spanish!

This cd is great! the songs are very inspirational. the acoustics in it are very clear and delightful. i can listen to it over and over! Marcela is the next big thing for spanish chrisitan music.

I absolutely love this CD. The lyrics are beautiful. My 8 year old doesn't know spanish, but loves this CD as much as I do. She's learned some lyrics and sings out loud every time I play it. I didn't get this CD from Amazon and I paid a little more for it, but It was so worth it! I would recommend this to everyone! You will not regret buying it. It has blessed my heart.

Marcela Has A Soft and Unique Voice That Gets To You. She Doesn't Stray At All From A Certain Rhythm or Style So, If You're In The Mood For Some Soft Mellow Music To Just Meditate Or Pray, This CD Is What You Should Be Looking For.

She's Had 5 Top 10 Hit Singles (To This Date 12/07), Among Which, Two Have Made The #1 Spot. My favorite "Dame Tus Ojos" In Which She Is Accompanied By Jesus Adrian Romero, And Just Recently "Un Viaje Largo".

I have this CD in my car it's all I hear on my way to work every morning.I like it because it's a way of praising God and thanking him everyday for the blessing he gives us.I recently bought this CD as a Christmas present for my mother in law and she liked it.

I bought this CD for my wife who loves to hear spanish worship and she tells me it is one of the best spanish worship music that she has listen for a long time. It has so much meaning in every word to the songs that makes your heart cry for joy and it moves you to love the LORD JESUS CHRIST all the more. Also the words could be your prayer. Indeed add this CD to your list.

Marcela has a very nice voice and her songs, all in Spanish, are well chosen, in particular for those that don't normally listen to christian music, like myself. Makes you feel like your "chuchin'" without being crushed by it. Churchin' should never 'crush' anyway, it's a blessing to worship our Lord with other christians!
Marcela tiene una voz muy linda e sus canciones, todos en Espanol, son buen escojidas, en particular paa gentes quienes no escuchan mucha musica christiana, como yo. Se puede gozar con sentido de estar en iglesia sin la pesadilla. Estar en comunion con otros cristianos nunca debe sentir 'pesado', es una bendicion estar alabando Dios con otros!
