joe thomas is aflutist,also a saxophonist,equivalent to Grover Washington jr. he is incredible,a genius in disguise.I'M FAMILIAR WITH HIS VERY BEST WORK which includes plato"s retreat. masada is a masterpiece,incomparible to the average jazz you hear everyday. This particular composition reminds me of arabic/latin. It"s great work.I"ve beeblooing for this on cd 20 plus years. Finally my day has arrived.
