Product Description

This is Masdevallia Maui Lollipop, a blooming size orchid in a 3.5 inch pot. The breeding on this one is Masd. Angel Frost x Masd. mendozae. The flowers come out a beautiful, bright orange color. This orchid is blooming size, likely to flower with a year, and probably much sooner. It's a division of one of our stock plants. Mature plants can have dozens of flowers at once. We have several of these, freshly repotted in 3.5 inch pots. We'll pick out a nice one for you. These are fairly warm growing as masdevallias go. They make great house plants. This one is a miniature, and they bloom when quite small. Masdevallias are fast-growing, compact plants that are perfect for windowsill growers and those with limited space. And the great thing is that they produce blooms several times a year. Keep these moist and grow in bright indirect light. Use a humidity tray if your home is exceptionally dry. Mazzies are native to the cloud forests of the Andes.
