All is not well in Ankh-Morpork Opera House. A ghost stalks the corridors, leaving strange letters for the management and killing people. Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg, two Lancre witches, investigate. This is an adaptation of Terry Pratchett's Discworld novel, "Maskerade".

Another Clever Collection of Wit and Parody,

Another brilliant piece of theatre from Stephen Briggs and Terry Pratchett.
The play is based "very loosely" on a certain musical phantom and the opera industry. It is light and easy to read. I haven't tried it on stage but it is one that I would like to try and use. There are just enough characters to make it lively and not a lot of extras are needed. Staging could be very elaborate or very simplistic. It features the irrepressible Nanny Ogg and Granny Weatherwax as well as Agnes Nitt.
