This game is an exemplar of it's genre. Yes, the endings were everything you heard about them but they added free dlc that rounds them all out nicely (and at no cost) The multiplayer is really good as well if you've got three other player friends. The randoms you are matched with online are the typical whining, swearing teenagers you'd expect.

Moreover, this game has been steadily patched with free content and supported for almost a year now. A level of commitment most AAA games don't receive. And most of it is completely free. The paid DLC options are worth the money with another major one still on the way.

The Mass Effect universe is among the tip top when it comes to creative and inspiring video games. I will be playing this game for a LONG time. And as far as the ending of the trilogy is concerned, yea it could have been better, but I thought it was perfectly fine.

The great and final chapter in the mass effect trilogy, and it has a lot of value cause after sp you have a great mp, where you will be able to get a lot of content for free, a bustling community, and endless hours of play. Only downside is the weird and botched ending, but that's only a small complain considering all the fun the trilogy gave me.

I love this game. The game itself is easily a 10 of 10. I did not particularly like to ending. But, there are still DLCs coming out for this game making it fresh after nearly a year. I have completed this game at least six times.

Great game. Admittedly I was a bit disturbed to come across the original endings. Alright, down right pissed. But they fixed that, and now the endings do a much better job of coinciding with the great storytelling we've come to expect from Bioware.

A great ending to this wonderful series, there is so much to be said, alot of backlash for the ending. My retort is that you should download the Extended Cut(which is free) and download the Leviathan DLC(which is not free). The goodies i got with this edition were nice, plus Javik is an interesting guy(i like him more than Vega). This is getting me through college(other then hard work and the support of my lover). I'm still playing this on and off. Plus you'll do the most epic things as Shepard ever, like blow up a reaper, or two....

As far as multiplayer goes, it's definitely different, working as a team to defeat Reapers, Geth and Cerberus, and now, the collectors. It is a cool experience because you're playing as resistance fighters, not as anyone on the Normandy. Plus you do some things different from the story and can play as almost every alien, with the exception of a few....so far. Nothing like completing a good mission with a good team. Plus since there is new DLC to play as a Volus, it's hilarious.

i was definitely a satisfied customer.

Never had a better storyline. Finish the series off with this great game and you won't be disappointed. Some people complain about the ending but I think it was good for what they had to do.

The good:
Gameplay is excellent, powers have more, better choices. Easier to use squad combos on the fly (although I did see squadmates running headlong out of cover a lot more than I was comfortable with). Some riveting story for 95% of the game. Multiplayer is fantastic when you're not teamed with all krogan or vanguards trying to melee everything (guess what, that's why you die so fast!).

The bad:

Mass Effect 3 had a lot of hype leading us to believe that our choices would matter by the end. I was diligent, I forged alliances, saved species, sent out supplies. None of it mattered.

I could have forgiven that the majority of "dialogs" in the game were really just you sitting there listening to people, without actually making any choices (or making one choice, and then the rest of the conversation is on rails for a long LONG time--and weren't we given a smaller squad so that way we'd have more time with each of them? What happened to that?). I could have forgiven that you didn't get choices in regards to whom you recruited this game, even if you really REALLY hated certain characters, or just found them boring as a brick (Vega, I'm looking at you). I mean, yeah, it would have been nice if your decisions from ME1 or 2 allowed you different squadmates, but whatever, fine. I even could have forgiven some of the weird plotholes (we see Miranda clearly in the same room as the Illusive Man at the beginning of Mass Effect 2, and yet we somehow have no idea where the Cerberus base is).

What I cannot forgive is the complete lack of impact any of your decisions have on the last ten minutes of the game. It doesn't matter who you bring with you at the end. It doesn't matter which people you saved, which people you pissed off....

The last ten minutes of the game are on rails. The last ten minutes of the game is, in fact, not a video game. Your input hardly matters. This is a marginally interactive movie, and not even a very good one.

Overall:
