It's no surprise that I thought this one was awesome. I love Mass Effect. I love everything to do with Mass Effect. I play it more for the character interaction and amazing story line than anything else. And Aria T'Loak is a character that I enjoyed while playing the game. So when I saw this baby appear on Netgalley I knew I had to have it.

I played Mass Effect 3 prior to reading Invasion, so I knew from conversations with Aria that something had happened to her control of the Omega space station. However, it was never made clear exactly what transpired. This is where Invasion comes in. It fills in the gaps between the end of Mass Effect 2 and the point where you encounter Aria in Mass Effect 3.

I loved seeing a story from Aria's point of view. She is definitely an intriguing character and Invasion gives the reader or gamer a little bit of insight into her character. I don't know much about art, but I'm a comic book and graphic novel fan and the art work in Invasion was incredible, staying true to the characters and alien races I've come to know and love through playing the video game. I also enjoyed seeing Omega. I love Omega by the way. I was poisoned there once by a Batarian. Ah, good times.

Overall, an amazing read and a great tie-in for those who love the Mass Effect games as much as I do.

Mass Effect is one of my top three games to play. When I heard they had books on it I had to buy them. If you never played the games. Buy them and buy the books. Play Mass Effect one and read in between playing the game. It explains a lot and helps with the story line. I hope Mac Walters makes more on Mass Effect. The art detail is beautiful and the story fits right into the game.

The characters in the Mass Effect world are all so interesting, and Aria is definitely no exception. I jumped at the chance to read more of her story, and this comic does not disappoint. Plus the artwork is extremely well done!

Great read. Really explained a lot of backstory to the Omega dlc. Loved the writing and art style.

Really only bad thing is how short it is.

I love "Mass Effect," and these comic books, though not adding much to the lore, are still wonderful reads. I love the art.

Good graphic novel. Fast read too. Interested to see how the characters are in the DLC compared to how they're written here.

I am a self confessed Mass Effect superfan. i have loved it from the moment I started the first game through the 5+ complete playthroughs I have done of the trilogy. The story, characters, sound, environments, and action were top notch. There are moments in this game, especially of those with strong ties to the characters, that have an emotional impact unlike anything I have played in gaming. With the added DLC that has come out, and the over 500 hours I have gotten out of the multi player, this title is very well worth the cost and addition ro your library and will flesh out the storyline and background of Arias loss and actions to take back Omega up to the DLC in game.

Great comic. It shows Aria's ruthlessness and general Bamf qualities without undercutting her intellect. Worth the money, also great to expand understanding of the universe.
