MASS WITH MARY...AN ABSOLUTE MUST READ!,

I had a long plane ride and never even knew we'd landed...this book had me so wrapped up! The prison stuff alone was interesting, then add Letourneau to the equation and I could hardly believe what I was reading! I just kept thinking 'if people only knew'...this book was outstanding. Five stars all the way!

This book is uncensored and tells the real story...from PRISON! I had no idea it would be so good. I'll bet prison officials are having a heart attack. Good insight, great humor and an excellent book.

I'd read the book just three days ago and then tonight I saw Christina Dress on Anderson Cooper's show (CNN). GREAT WOMAN!I loved the book anyway, but seeing her talk and the the way she carries herself was really impressive. Cooper tried to fluster her but her fell short. He tried to down talk to her, but he couldn't. In fact, Copper was stumbling on HIS words! He was no match for this ex-con turned author and I thought it was great. NICE JOB!!! GREAT BOOK!!! I give Mass With Mary FIVE STARS and the author gets SIX!

I'm a book reader...and I'd like to think that I've read just about everything under the sun. This book was a shocker. I had no idea the kinds of things that go on inside a women's prison. I knew the Letourneau story was somewhat interesting, but I certainly had no idea that this book would cover so much ground! Very, very good. Everyone should read this book, and I'd recommend owning a copy. You won't just read it once.

So Good! Cover to Cover!,

We've been beat to death with the Mary Kay Letourneau story, seeing the same information repeatedly. This book is refreshing and gives such a great voyeurism into life inside a woman's prison - for the author, Christina Dress and Mary Kay Letourneau. This is the only book I've seen written in years about Ms. Letourneau that is from someone on the "inside" and close to her. Really a good book - has great scenes that I could see as a movie!

Love the way it's written. So realistic. Wonder if the author is going to write another book. There's more than one book in this one.

This book tells it all! Very impressive. I'd love to read another book written from INSIDE a prison. Great idea...great book.

WOW - I couldn't put this book down. The author, Christina Dress, writes with humor and sensitivity and you feel like you are "there" and know these people. Mary Kay Letourneau's story is unique, but life in prison and what it is really like to "live" there is what makes this book keep you up late at night until you finish it! The photo's, letters, and notes are an added plus. My wife read it and she'd laugh out loud one minute and be wiping tears the next.

GREAT BOOK/DIARY,
By C. Sweeney (Sacramento, CA) - See all my reviews

After listening to all the media buzz surrounding this new "tell-all" book from behind prison walls - I ordered a copy. It was written in a very interesting diary-like way, which really comes across as true and play-by-play events that went on during those years Mary has been confined. I'm enjoying reading the personal notations about Mary's kids visiting and their holidays together, etc. I wondered about that after she got convicted. Very good book and fun to read and kind of live along with.

Just wanted to tell book readers that I NEVER take the time to 'review' much of anything--but this book was worth some extra attention...I LOVED THE REALITY OF IT all! Amazing stories, such a unique, fresh writing style, and what a daring, smart-thinking woman to thnk this idea up on the very DAY that Letourneau went to prison! And even more incredible to follow it through with such vigor and excitement. READ THIS ONE, YOU'LL NOT REGRET IT.
