I purchased this DVD along with some cups from Amazon. I am a Massage Therapist looking to add cupping therapy to my current practice. This DVD provides the viewer with great tips including contraindications and specific conditions that benefit from massage cupping. The therapist demonstrates various techniques on each area of the body, which is very helpful to the beginner. However, I found that the majority of these techniques were instinctual to me; they made sense and they are exactly what I would have done anyway without even watching the video. I have been a massage therapist for 5 years, which is really not that long, but perhaps that is why the movements and techniques were common sense to me. For a beginner though, I could see the demonstrations being useful.

Overall I enjoy the video and its presentation. My biggest complaint, and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that it is ridiculously expensive considering its content. I would recommend it for beginners who need the visual aid, but for others I suggest researching online for tips and techniques. Much cheaper that way!
