I wanted to use it on my face -- trying to get the anti-aging effects of the infrared systems that cost $200-300. I got what a paid for. It felt awkward to use in part because of its weight and in part because it gets too hot for my skin. I would need to place a cloth between it and my skin -- wherever I used it. I could not figure out how to comfortably place it on my low back either, so I returned it.
