Helped Me A Lot,
By "healuwhands" (Sacramento, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: MassagePosture Video [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This video helped me a lot with my technique. I used to get sore and tired after massaging. I still do, but it's much better than it used to be because of some of the tips. The picture quality isn't the best but the information is top rate. It starts with some overall principles, then goes into specifics, exercises (which I haven't tried), and other useful tips. It also comes with a two page worksheet that helps to focus on exactly what you possibly need to adjust. I would've liked to have seen more examples while working on an actual person though. Other than that the video is great.

Good price for the material that was covered. Most helpful information for me was: the demonstration on massage techniques, examples on how not to hold your body & reasons why, and the exercises & stretches illustrated for therapist to do. I would like to see more on table height along with more examples using different sized people. With this being such important subject for massage therapist, it's good to have this information available for me.

Terrible video!,

This review is from: MassagePosture Video [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I have been a certified massage therapist for over 10 years, and I have to rate this video a 1 star since it was a terrible video, not worth more than a few bucks at the most! The video was of bad quality and seemed like it was homemade! In addition, the audio/communication was terrible, very difficult to understand and the demonstrator looked like a robot, reading every single thing he was saying..it was not professional! Furthermore, it was difficult to see and understand the body mechanics because he was using a table at first when he should have been using a real model, NOT THE TABLE! If you want to throw away your money, this is the video to buy! I wouldn't recommend this video to anyone!

massage posture/ USEFUL! ! !,

This review is from: MassagePosture Video [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This video has very USEFUL information. As a seasoned veteran I was reminded of some of my early traning as well as learning some new tips. Albeit the film quality is a little homemade, however, the effort and forethought of the content clearly comes through intelligently. A must for new therapists and old hands alike.
