1.0 out of 5 stars Does not handle serial ports properly for weather station, November 15, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Masscool XWT-PCIE05 2-Serial & 1-Printer PCIe Card (Personal Computers)
Few details come with this product, so I have found no way to make it work. My weather station outputs to computer via serial signal. Newer computers have to pass the serial signal either via USB or card. One of the seven USB devices I have purchased works. I thought this item would be a better approach ... and it fits better in my limited HP box ... but nope. I have tried just about every user controllable alteration, no handshake. Of course, XP and the registry can be the culprit.
