At last Dover is reprinting more obscure repertoire!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Masses Nos. 5 And 6 in Full Score (Paperback)
It's a pity Schubert completed no operas---these liturgies give a glimpse of what magic he could have done. The Credos, and the Et Incarnatus Est of the 6th mass are up there with the Trout and the Great C Major. Too bad the Mass in G was omitted; this is a simpler work but also beautiful.

Three Cheers for Dover!,
This review is from: Masses Nos. 5 And 6 in Full Score (Paperback)
Dover Publications is due a hearty commendation on their reprinting of these fun scores. I hope that Dover continues to print as many scores as they possibly can, and innumerably enrich the libraries of music buffs (don't forget to keep the low price.) The next thing for Dover to do is to reprint the Schubert operas - esp. the unjustly neglected 'Fierrabras'
