For any reasonably skilled mechanic, I&T Shop Service manuals like this one are a must, before one tears into their tractor. They are simple and to the point, with step-by-step instructions and accompanying pictures.

Manual does not even cover the Basics - ie fluid capacities -
maintenance and check points. Figures and diagrams not clear
too many copies of copies - Must be a Manual for a tractor that
has been around this long - ?? I have a 135 and 165 - both with
starting injection problems and lift problems

A great reference book if you need to know how to fix any part of a Massey (CORRECTLY).

My husband acquired an old tractor and didn't know much about it. He ordered this manual and it has answered many of his questions. He now performs all the routine maintenance on his tractor.

This is an excellent Manual. Well worth the money. Of course, it is incomplete without the "MF-135 Operator's Manual". The two manuals are meant to compliment each other. If you have an MF-135...you need these two manuals.

We just bought a 1973 MF-165 and needed this to get it back in good shape. Thanks so much for getting it to us so quickly!

Exactly what I was looking for at a very reasonable price and the publication was in excellent condition.

The manual was very thin and only skimmed over the information required to perform limited maintenance on the tractor. I would not recommend this manual to any owner of a Massey tractor. It is incomplete, vague, and misleading, which is evident by the small amount of material it contains, but is listed as a shop manual.

I have used hundreds of shop manuals and this was by far the most incomplete. It should not be sold as a manual, and the publishers should reimburse all buyers for their time, shipping and purchase price of the manual.

Simple items such as fluid levels, gear patterns, and basic controls are not even listed. I was looking forward to its arrival, and once opened, I wanted to send it back. It is unfortunate a quality tractor is represented by a pamphlet of this type. I used the word pamphlet because that is about how thick the item is.

I will call a representative at amazon next time I attempt to purchase anything, to ensure I am getting what I am looking for. This manual should not have been sold as a manual, and I believe it to be deceiving and misleading. .

I purchased this book for an older Gentlemen(James)he was needing a book that showed him the ins and outs of the tractor that made it work. Like the PTO which helps in lifting your inclements that work with the tractor. I believe that he has his tractor working now and I helped him in getting it put back together so that he could do some lot mowing and making a little mad money on the side.
