sound quality takes away from the experience, February 2, 2006

The main reason I didn't give this cd 5 stars is because of the sound quality. The tracks sound thin unless you turn the bass way up, and there's an awful lot of hissing noise. Besides that, the music itself is some great stuff. I also need to mention this album contains some stuff with Lee Perry, the Upsetters, and Augustus Pablo, some of the greats of dub reggae music. But overall, considering you can buy this album for a little over 2 bucks, it's a great buy if you love dub and can listen past the hissing...or, just play it with some subwoofers and none of it will even matter!
