I was fascinated by the summary of "Master of My Dreams," and the romance lived up to its billing! I found the British Captain Christian Lord a strong and sympathetic character who remains true to his convictions, and yet finds himself falling in love with another strong character, Deirdre O'Devir. They find themselves on different sides during the Revolutionary War, and it was truly exciting and moving as they found a way to fall in love without either compromising their beliefs. This book is one of my favorites. I've read a whole host of genres and a good number of romances, and this book is still, by far, one of the best I've read. The characters were believeable, the plot and the setting were captivating. I loved all the twists, pain and heartache, and the joy and love that the book brought to me. I just loved Christian, the hero. I wish I could steal him for myself! And I thought Dierdre was wonderful too. She was so sweet in her innocence and yet so determined with her fiery will in her quest for vengence against Christian. It was an easy and enjoyable read.
