About the Author

Anthony R. Michalski (AKA "Tony") is the owner and the chief cook and bottle washer of Kallisti Publishing. Begun in 2000, Kallisti Publishing first published The Master Key System by Charles F. Haanel, which was received with wide acclaim. Following on that success, Tony published more books by other great authors and he continues to bring Haanel?s other books to bookstores near you.

Tony received a BA from The Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D. from the School of Hard Knocks, has worked too many jobs to list, and has owned a couple of businesses. Along the way, he ballroom danced, fixed computers, played guitar, was a President and Area Governor in Toastmasters International, and wrote articles for a weekly news magazine in his area. When he is not working on a new book, which is rare, Tony enjoys travelling to New York City, cooking, talking politics, listening to and playing music, and reading. (That last one is shocking considering that he is a publisher!)

Robert "Bob" Schmitz was born in New York City and attended college at the University of Dayton in Ohio. Two endeavors drastically altered his life: He read Think & Grow Rich and he studied a success course that was produced by the "Success Motivation Institute."

At 30, Bob bought a convenience store franchise. He was eventually elected to a leadership position to represent other store owners within the company. In the early 80?s, Bob opened one of the first video rental stores on Long Island. When that became a tremendous success, Bob sold his stores and moved to Florida to pursue his own personal mental and spiritual growth.

In late 1987, Bob began another business marketing skin and hair care products. He developed a nationwide business over the next four years and incorporated training programs using what he learned about self-mastery. This lead to his famous "Mindset to Millionaire" seminars, which impelled many people to levels of excellence of which they had only dreamed. (Soon to be available from Kallisti Publishing!)

Bob moved to Pennsylvania in 2003 to build a specialized candle business with good friends. The company has been experiencing amazing growth. Bob is also an accomplished artist.

Tony graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1993 with a BA in Sociology/Philosophy. While at Penn State, he studied under such prestigious professors as Alfonso Lingus, Sue Tallichet (for whom he was a teaching assistant), Dan Conway, and Sam Richards. When not attending classes or frequenting Zeno's (which is located directly above the center of the Earth), Tony wrote a little, worked a little, and played guitar in a nine-piece rhythm and blues band called Little Evil and the Rhythm Saints. He also played in the pit orchestra for many of the Penn State Thespians' productions, including The Wiz, West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Little Shop of Horrors.

Following graduation, Tony worked in many capacities in many fields -- or, as he likes to say, he was "the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker." His experience includes working in a bank, as a loan officer, in sales, as a computer technician, as a computer network specialist, as a database specialist for a newspaper, doing layout for a newspaper, on the line in a book bindery, prepress for a book manufacturer, as the "computer guy" for a small company, doing web design, and as a business partner in an auto body parts concern. He also taught for a brief while ballroom dance.

Today, Tony concerns himself with expanding Kallisti Publishing. He is working on a book about the axioms of success -- to be entitled The Axioms -- and explores other entrepreneurial ventures as time and opportunity permits. I have read the Master Key System and followed the exercises a few years ago. I found that the system did indeed help me better my life by changing my thought patterns.
However, lately life has been very challenging as I embark on some major changes such as a new career path and moving to another state. It was perfect timing that the MKS workbook was released and I decided to give it a go.
It is the perfect companion to the insightful original book. It summarizes each chapter and then provides additional exercises or written materials that allow you to really grasp the idea behind each chapter. All of the exercises are clear and allow you to follow through at your own pace. The extra materials are beautifully chosen to illustrate Haanel's concepts. The format of the workbook is easy to read and follow with plenty of room to write in the book. The book itself is a comfortable size, not so small as to be uncomfortable to read but not too large as to be cumbersome to work with. It is a perfect size for a briefcase or a tote bag and lies flat on a table.
A word of caution - the exercises and extra materials really cause you to think and reflect. This can be a bit difficult if you are being honest with yourself. Trying to physically list the twenty things that you do to hold back your own success can be daunting. However, I have found it to be liberating as you then learn how to apply Haanel's concepts to these negative patterns and change them into positive steps to success.
To understand the MKS is great, but to be able to master it is life changing. This workbook allows you to master the concepts by engaging you both mentally and physically. I highly recommend this book!

A long time ago I made the transition from blue collar worker to independent business man. It was something that I thought I was prepared to do because my entire life was one of "hard work" and diligence. So, when I entered into this new career I felt that I could make that transition without a lot of "speed bumps" along the way.

Luckily for me, thru a series of synchronistic events the "mind stuff" came into my life just as I was going full fledged into business. What I found was a world that literally amazed me in its simplicity.

Imagine (no pun intended) that a simple thought could have more power than all the hard work ever done!

Then imagine that simple thoughts done with consistancy could have a more dramatic impact on your financial fortunes than all the hours spent "chained to the desk!"

Better yet.....imagine that there were men and women out there who have already succeeded in business by using those simple principals and who were willing to write the "mind stuff" down on paper so that you and I could literally "follow the leader" to financial success.

One year after my very first "major exposure" to the materials that are presented by Tony and Bob in this work book my life changed dramatically and all for the better.

Today I own a multi million dollar business that continues to grow monthly and I look around at my life and realize most of it was "written down" on a piece of paper long before it ever really happened.

And if you look in my wallet today you ll find a small piece of paper with things written on it that express my desires for my future. All of these things would be "wishes" instead of "eventual realities" had it not been for the information that is contained in books like this.
