Wow! These are much higher quality than I expected for the price. The hooks are a double loop which makes them more sturdy and without a sharp point. All of the bungees are very heavy duty and there are enough of them to put some in the utility room, some in my car and some in my girlfriends car (never know when you're going to need a bungee -- almost as versatile as duct tape). I am very impressed!

This really is the best value in bungee cords. The cords themselves are as high in quality as any others I've seen and this canister includes many of many different sizes. It hadn't occured to me prior to the purchase how handy it would be to get all those different sizes.

The only caveat is if you need truly long bungee cords. None of these is all that long unless you get to the bottom of the can and grap the yellow ones. However, you can string others together should you need a much longer one. For example, I had to move a large piece of furniture on a large dolly. No one cord was nearly long enough to fit all the way around that furniture, but I was able to connect a few of these by stringing them together. That worked well enough for my purposes, but if I had to routinely use a long cord, this canister would not be ideal.

All in all, I think this was one of the most economical purchases I've made in a long time. I have so many cords as a result that I could give many away and still have more than enough.

There are several different useful sizes in this array. They have come in very handy for me. The large I use to wrap up the vacuum hose for the swimming pool. The ten inch are being used for tying down saddle bags on a homemade bracket for a dirt bike. The uses are limitless.

Based on the review I seem to be the only naysayer of this product but I find the hooks to be unusable for my applications.

I have older bungees with more traditional hooks; they're longer, the curve goes further around, and they're strong with only a single piece of metal so they can be hooked in to small areas. I found with the hooks in this canister that I could not get a them to stay in place in a number of different applications. I could not get them to adequately link together unless stretched incredibly taught. And the loops are too short to hook back to the bungee around large items. I just didn't feel safe using them and I ended up returning them.

Definitely worth the extra couple of bucks over 'no name brand' bungee assortments.

PRO:
- Color coded by length.
- Lengths are 'dead on' for hook-to-hook measurement.
- Plastic-coated, twin hooks are fabulous...stronger than plastic hooks, but without the sharp end!
- 18", 24", 32" & 40" sizes are thick, 3/8" bungee material (So if you need to string different sizes together...all should be equally strong.)
- Easily fit back into plastic jar for storage (if you toss out the 10" cords...see below.)

CON:
- 6" & 10" length cords are thin, 1/4" bungee cord material
- 10" cords have sharp, uncoated, single-hook ends

SUMMARY: Easily worth the money just for the longer, higher-quality sizes! (Consider the smaller cords to be a 'bonus' item that are pretty thin and useless.)

The set is very nice.
I took away one star because the 6 mini cords (the ones 10 inches in length) are NOT twin wire, they have single wire hooks with fairly sharp endings.
The longer cords are indeed twin wire.
There is only mention of twin wire in the description - misleading :(
Also, the cords are stuffed very tightly in that plastic drum container, and once taken out, you will probably not be able to put ALL the cords back in for storage. Would have been nice to have something to store them all in (just an observation).
But I still recommend the set.
The quality is first-rate, they look and feel very well made.
Especially for the price!
Just make sure you understand the two longest cords are 40" - the set does not have anything super-long. The lengths and the quantities are listed correctly in the description.

These are good bungees, and function well in extremely cold temps, as some bungees lose elasticity in the cold. They come in a wide assortment, but the small/ minature bungees are kinda a joke, not sure why or how you would use them. The selection of different sizes is nice. The other positive are the bungee balls for securing tarps, and things with grommets. The down side of these bungees is the hook, as it is non-traditional, kinda a double wrapped hook, which makes them heavier and possibly harder, impractical, or impossible to use for your application. I was planning to use them for strapping cargo to the cargo rack on my polaris snow mobile, but the hooks make it difficult. I need a thin hook for my application. If your application requires a thin hook, think twice about these. Also, the plastic container they store in was crushed on arrival, because it is so cheap, despite the shipping box being unmarred. Over all these seem like a good value

I checked the stores to see if I could get them cheaper but Amazon was by far the best price so long as you get the super saver shipping. They are quality and come in a variety of sized and colors. I was a bit disappointed that the smallest size was a metal clip and not rubberized like the other cords.

I recommend the product it is a great value.

An interesting selection of cords of various lengths. The shorter cords, about half the package count, are a little strange. Since boxes have an annoying habit of coming in too many different sizes, I find side buckle straps to be more useful when tying them down to my Magna Cart Ideal Hand Truck as those are infinitely adjustable, but not nearly as convenient. Still, I'm glad I have them and I'm sure I'll find a use for all of them eventually.

Love these new bungee cords! The hooks with the double curve are so much stronger and won't accidentally hook you. I like that the different colors shows different lengths at a glance! Wonderful product, great price!
