I bought this for an electric bike and I think it's overkill. It's very bulky and doesn't fit easily on my bike rear rack. This might be better for a motorcycle or scooter. I'm sure it would give you plenty of protection from thieves- I would rate it 5 stars for that. Unless I'm using my panniers, I won't take it with me. Even then, it doesn't pack easily. I'm sorry I bought it.
