This is the 3rd cable lock like this that I own. All of them work just fine and are easy to operate. The first one I bought is 3 years old and still looks new with no corrosion. I use them to secure my game cameras to a tree in the woods so they are in the weather constantly. Some day I may have the cyinders changed so I only have to carry one key. This can be done with this cable lock.

I purchased this in order to lock my helmet and jacket to my bike. I run this through the passenger bar, through my helmet, and through the glove of my jacket and then re-lock it. The length is just about perfect for this use, and it locks/unlocks/cinches very easily. I carry it around in my backpack when I go to school, and it coils very easily. It comes with a velcro strap to keep it coiled, but it isn't attached to the lock and so I soon stopped hassling with it. Therefore, it can be a bit cumbersome trying to stuff it into a backpack and keep it from taking up much room. Besides this minor compliant I love it and recommend it.

I bought it to lock my saddle bags and helmet on my motorcycle. Does the job easily and well. While it would not stop a determined thief with serious tools, it does seem to offer sufficient protection against casual attempts to walk away with things.

My wire was cut a week after having this cable. It's a bit too thin. I think it is much smarter to get a chain.

I don't live in a bad neighborhood or anything, but hated the idea of my new grill being wheeled away! After a lot of research, I landed on this Master Lock Python and don't regret it a bit. It plenty long to latch any part of the grill to a deck, it easily unlocks and slides open when you need it too, and so far (Wisconsin) weather hasn't damaged it at all.

I bought this so I can use it in multiple applications, from locking up my bike to tying down my battery box on my trailer. Being able to tension it to any length (within 6 ft of course) was the very reason I bought it. Most other cable locks are fixed length. But with this one, I can pull it snug to the exact length I want and the exact tightness I want. It has also weathered a couple of rain storms just fine. I plan to leave it outside all summer for various purposes. Thumbs up from me.

I use this lock to secure my bike to the hitch carrier while transporting. It is long enough to wrap through the wheels and around a post to secure the bike while my vehicle is parked if I am running errands. Quick and easy to use. High quality.

I like this Master lock python. I lock all my video cameras to trees with this lock when I video deer and other wildlife. I've not had one camera stolen with this lock securing it. It makes a good bicycle lock too.

This small Python lock is great for short term lock up for your bike helmet and jacket too. If your not going to be away from your bike long or far away then this is the lock to have. It's fast and extremely easy to use.

Can't beat this lock. It's long enough to go through both tires and frame as well as around any reasonable post. I highly recommend it.
