I bought the set for our newly purchased tent trailer and used the locks to secure the unit for the winter.

Despite the fact that the coupler latch was covered, the lock froze and couldn't be opened (and despite several applications of Liquid Wrench and other similar products). I called MasterLock and was cheerfully told that the product would be replaced for free, but I would, of course, not be reimbursed for the postage to return the old lock or for the $125 the locksmith charged.

Shouldn't that be enough? Well, noooooooooooooooooooooooooo! The Universal receiver lock appears to be stainless, but after less than six months is completely covered with rust. However, it does open and lock as does the coupler lock (as opposed to the latch).

So, the good news is they are all 3 locks are keyed alike, which is a great feature. The bad news is that two of them are unsatisfactory.
