To me.. a door is pretty useless if anyone can open it at any time.

This is why I bought a doorknob which has a lock. I live in a mobile home, so I had to find one that would fit mobile home doors. Master Lock clearly says this doorknob will fit mobile home doors, and even says "Easy to install with a Phillips screwdriver, lock fits all doors". However, this is not true. The doorknob itself fits, but the latch that actually goes in the side of the door does not - it's too big. I can't drill the hole to be bigger without compromising the integrity of the door.

So, I'm quite disappointed that I spent around 22 dollars with tax and shipping on a doorknob that clearly stated it would fit mobile home doors, only to find out that it does not fit. Sending it back isn't even worth it.

If you're interested in buying this doorknob, be careful. Also, it looks slightly different than in the picture.

At the moment I'm getting a hold of Master Lock to try to rectify the situation. I've verified I was sent the correct door knob, and the customer support agent I got (who spoke proficient english, and, wished me a happy new year) took down my name and number and is going to have a technician call me and help. At least their customer support is pretty good .. just wish their lock fit mobile home doors as advertised.
