Electronic Sun System Galaxy and Lumatek ballasts are wired for 120/240V operation. The 250 watt, 400 watt and 1000 watt are MH/HPS switchable. Comes prewired for a standard wall plug, 120V operation. The ballast does offer Multi-Volt operation, simply flip the 120/240 switch and plug in a Smart Volt 240V power cord, available for $12.99 (903082). Bulbs are warranted for one year, ballasts for five. More lumens generated per watt of electricity consumed - LumatekTM ballasts have increased efficiency over magnetic ballasts.
