I can find my tool that I need very quick.

Knives are held on nicely, even a heavy cleaver, no downward slips so the magnets are strong enough.

They hold most metal hand tools (wrenches, pliers, etc) very well.

I looked at similar products at the big box stores. Those held just a tiny fraction of the weight the Master Magnetics bars can handle. And the big box versions cost more. The Master Magnetics bars support a wide variety of tools inclduing very heavy hammers and wrenches. Note they are so powerful they can grab the screws and screwdriver you are using to install them.

I made a magnetic knife rack using this magnetic tool bar. Sandwiched this with wood around it, a black velvet cover over this and it looks like a very nice finished product that is mounted on the wall. At a fraction of cost compared to a retail product. Knives are held on nicely, even a heavy cleaver, no downward slips so the magnets are strong enough. I bet it is just as effective in holding actual tools besides knives.

Over the years I've bought several brands of magnetic tool bars. Some have been disappointing and some have worked well. These bars are the strongest bars I've ever seen and hold very heavy tools easily. Have just ordered another four.

Not a wimpy magnet. Holds even heavy tools with ease on pegboard, and if it were much stronger, I'd be tugging the pegs out when removing the tools. Does what it is designed to do well.

Am pleased with the magnetic force of these strips. They can securely hold heavy tools & look decent to boot. I've purchased 2 & appreciate them thus far. The outer, painted surface also seems durable. Some magnetic strips that I've owned in the past chipped badly, leading to a beat-up appearance after a few weeks. The Master Magnetics seem better coated, so one can use them as a knife or implement holder in the kitchen & they're fairly handsome (although I wish they made an all black version).

I was always fascinated by the magnetic knife holders in high-end kitchen stores. Heck, I just like magnets in general. So I put down some money on a few of these strips. They are fantastic. They hold most metal hand tools (wrenches, pliers, etc) very well. They work better on tools with a flat profile - screwdriver and other round shafted tools tend to slide around some.

The magnet is actually embedded between two steel bars that provide the contact surface for your tools. They hold strong but don't seem to impart magnetism on any of the tools themselves, a concern I had when ordering. A 24" length easily accommodates 10-12 assorted pliers and channel locks or a standard set of box wrenches.

I mounted this to the lid of my rolling service cart, exactly what I needed to hold oil filter sockets and other small misc bits and drivers. The only downside is it's designed to be mounted to a wall, so I had to drill 2 holes in my toolbox's lid, I was hoping the magnetic back would stick to the metal lid on my toolbox but it did not. I tried some 3M VHB double stick tape and it did not hold it either, so screwing it on there was the trick. I can roll my cart around the shop and nothing has fallen off the bar yet.

The bar is powerful and easy to install. It works as advertised.
Be advised that it may slightly magnetize some tools, but that can be an advantage when working with nuts/bolts/wrenches/pliers and screw-drivers.
