After reading the reviews, I decided to purchase this chair. It does actually say on the box that the working weight is 300 lbs not 1000 lbs. I'm not sure why it's advertised for the greater weight, but I suppose most people fall under the category of 'under 300 lbs'. It is also true that there aren't any instructions included, but it's pretty simple to figure out and it's already put together. My biggest problem was figuring out how to fold it back up again, but that didn't take too long. The color is a dark navy blue, which I prefer, and not the bright blue seen in the picture. It is well made and very comfortable. I am over 6 feet and did find it a little tricky to make it fit my height. Fortunately, the face cushion is attached by velcro to the frame, so it was just a matter of 'ripping' it off and repositioning it as far 'up' as it could go. There is a 'sternum' pad that is included that I needed for my height. After all those little adjustments, it worked fine for me, but I could see how this would be a challenge for very big people. The case is a great option and fits easily into a closet. I would definitely recommend this chair to others.

Its a decent chair for the money but has drawbacks that would keep me from buying it again. The worst is that every time someone sits up from a massage, they have deep lines on their face due to the design of the face rest and a rough seem going along it in a bad place. I don't have that problem with my other chairs (I have three). Also, the bag/case is nice in that it has wheels but the cheap plastic at the edges on the bottom breaks easily.

As a massage therapy student I needed a chair that would fit my budget and be of good quality. This chair has certainly met my expectations. I had an opportunity to see it in use before I ordered my chair as a classmate purchased her Master Massage chair earlier. 3 out of the 12 students in my massage therapy program group have purchased this chair and like it very much. The chairs have been used in several community service events with no problems at all. This chair is easy to set up and easy to adjust for clients. I can't say enough praise for the wheeled carrying case. Every massage chair should have a case like this one does. The general concensus in class is that the case alone, for it's convenience and quality, is worth a big part of the price. I've priced many massage chairs and I don't think anyone would be disappointed in this chair AND the case for $185.

This chair was a very good buy for the price. It adjusts easily, the material used to cover the cushions is very soft, the cushions have the right amount of firmness, and it seems to be very sturdy. I am a certified massage therapist and have used top of the line chairs as well as bottom of the barrel and I can honestly say that this chair is very close to top of the line. It doesn't have as many adjusting features as I've seen, but you don't always have to have all the bells and whistles either. I like it's case much better than others I've seen, too. It's a great buy.

This chair was bought as a present to my wife...she loves massages but being a slim build its hard to give her a nice massage on the bed or the couch even so this was the gift that keeps on giving so to speak. I have to say the quality of this chair is excellent and really just well built. Feels lighter than the 20#'s listed (I am guessing they included the weight of the bag/carry case.) Speaking of which it was really just a surprise to get such a nice funtional case with it...usually these things are just flimsy throw aways...not this one it is fitted and has side bolsters to support the chair square once it is set in place...so lets see....well built...lots of plastic which originaly scared me as such things have a tendency to snap or break, but no problems so far after a month of daily use. The chair is comfortable, adjustable, and well built. Excellent purchase.

I use my chair a couple of times a month at various events. It works well indoors and out and is sturdy/stable in both environs. Lots of compliments on how comfortable it is. My only wish for this chair would be more adjusting options, but it's a good chair. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a chair for marketing purposes or who is just starting out in chair massage.

After doing much research online for a massage chair, I found this one & was surprised by the price & the extras that came with the chair. It was delivered sooner than I expected & was even better than I had hoped! I have been doing several promotions a week with the chair & find it is very light weight & easy to set up & take down. Over all I am very pleased with this product.

The chest pad and face cradle were very stiff to move, they havn't loosened up yet. Maybe with some WD40. I have done several events with this chair and it has adjusted to fit everyone. Very good chair for a good price. I wish it would have came with instructions, it took awhile to figure out how to set it up.

This chair is all it claimed - inexpensive, light-weight and super-easy to set up.

I bought mine to take to fair and festival type venues for Reiki mini-treatments, to promote my business. I think it is one of the best "advertising" investments I've made. Fast to set up and tear down, fits in small spaces. And is so easy to move from car to location.

I can see that more expensive chairs may be more adjustable for a variety of body types and sizes. But for what I need it for for, it is absolutely the perfect chair!

I bought this for my sister, she is a massage therapist and already has a table, she loves this chair!!! she had looked at several chairs and they were all pretty expensive, but this one was a reasonable price and is very sturdy. The carrying case was great because it has wheels on the bottom. we werent sure about the color but when it came in it looked really nice(blue)we would both recommend this chair
