I CAN ALREADY NOTICE I'M READING FASTER!,
By
This review is from: Master Reader: The Work-Smarter, Speed-Reading, Speed-Thinking Course (Audio CD)
I've always had trouble keeping my In Box at a manageable level, but it wasn't until recently that I realized that it just takes me longer to read things than it does everybody else. No wonder I feel like I'm always behind!I didn't know there was really anything I could do about it without going to an expensive course until I listened to Master Reader. These exercises helped me see what was holding me back and showed me all sorts of tricks and tools I can use to increase my reading speed and improve my comprehension at the same time. I was so tired of always playing catch-up; now I can plow through memos, emails and newspapers without worrying how long it's taking-and I can remember more of what I've read when I'm finished. Master Reader convinced me that almost anyone can improve their productivity if they sharpen their speed reading skills; now I feel like I get more done in less time, and can control my workday and my work better than ever before.

I started college at 30 years old. I am in my second semester and I am finding out that if your reading, thinking, comprehension, and listening skills are not good you are going to suffer in your reading assignments. In my catalog for the spring, there are reading courses on different things. I thought about it and decided that sitting three hours in a class lecture is too much for me when I already have other lectures and reading assignments. I can honestly tell you, for me personally, this is one of the best courses I have ever taken. In just one night, I am already seeing some slight improvement. But you must have patience, you must be honest with yourself, and you must be willing to put in a little time if you try this. I can already feel my reading and thinking skills getting better. And the listening is getting better too. It may not work for everyone, but it is definitely working for me.

INCOMPLETE!!!,
By
This review is from: Master Reader: The Work-Smarter, Speed-Reading, Speed-Thinking Course (Audio CD)
The audio portion(4 CDs) of the program was good with many heplful suggestions. However, the program was to have included a workbook and it did not. This, of course, lessened its value and effectiveness. Two of your customer service reps tried very hard to help me find out who or where to call to obtain a workbook but were unable to do so. I'm greatful for their efforts. I think it would be VERY helpful if you were to let customers know that a workbook is needed to get the most out of the program and that it's NOT included.Thank you very much for the opportunity to present my review. I hope it helps. Sincerely, Dan Diesti

Incomplete,

Help me out. If anyone has figured out how to access the all-important pdf files supposedly on the 4th CD ~ let me in on the secret. I've tried every way I can think of to find something besides audio files on these discs but cannot. It is useless to me if I can't do the reading exercises to follow along.Apart from that, as with many self help programs, they spend way too much time selling me on a program I already bought and take their time getting around to making a point.

Dissatified,

I am dissatified with the product because I was not given the entire product. While listening to the first CD, I was told to go to my workbook which I never received. I would like it. The set was also missing the computer CD. I would like that also. If you send me the missing parts, I may then be able to make a more accurate assessment.
