I bought this blade as a replacement for a Craftsman 3 inch saw. It is a handy tool for plunge cutting and similar niche type work. The blade is great. Looks and works identical to the Craftsman. The saw itself will cut 3/4 inch plywood if you are patient and let the saw do the work. A little cheaper than Craftsman for what looks like the same blade.

I bought this saw blade to use with my new Dremel Saw-Max since the Dremel blades wear out quickly and are expensive to replace. The hole in this blade is too small to fit on the Dremel shaft. I drilled the hole out to fit and it works just fine. It would be nice if there was some reasonable standardization of these products and that they were not designed to exclude similar items made by other brands. I personally tend to steer away from the more exclusive brands who try to limit you to their over priced accessories.

Not sure why Ben says it fits the Dremel because it doesn't. The mounting hole is too small so it doesn't fit over the shaft - just tightening the blade against the shaft is really dangerous. Obviously it's not MasterMind's fault that it doesn't fit the Dremel Saw-Max. For some reason when you bring up replacement blades for the Dremel this product comes up as an option and, as Ben pointed out, it's a lot cheaper. Just trying to keep people from making the same mistake that I did.

Does not fit the Dremel Saw-Max. Item should not have shown up while searching for "Dremel Saw-Max". Don't even consider enlarging the mounting hole. This saw blade's max rpm is 7200. The Dremel Saw-Max's rpm is 20,000.

since it was shown with the blades for the dremel saw, i assumed it would be a good addition, however the arbor hole is not large enough to use with the dremel saw.

This blade works great for me. It is not advertised to work on a Dremel Saw Max, but this blade WILL work on the Saw Max, so I'm not sure why others have said that they couldn't figure it out or make it work for them. You have to bore the hole out to be slightly larger. I put my blade in a vise with shems to protect the teeth and bored it out with a 7/16" drill bit. That left a slight bit of a burr around the hole which I ground off with my Dremel rotary tool and grinding disc. I then put it on my Saw Max and it works great. It cuts wood much better than the original Dremel wood/plastic blade. This blade says 7,200 rpm max and Dremel Saw Max runs 17,000 rpm, but so far I haven't had any problems. I'd definitely buy another for my Saw Max because it goes through plywood like a full size circular saw.

These are great for wood projects. You do not have to break out the big saw to make a small cut.

This us a quality blade for my Dremel Saw-Max. The only issue I had was; for some goofy reason, only Dremel will know for sure, Dremel decided to use a larger shaft than other manufactures. So I had to drill the hole to match the mounting shaft size. Once I had the proper sized hole the blade performed flawlessly. Unlike Dremels blades that dulled fast...

After reading the reviews I decided it was worth the risk. I purchased it, put it on my drill press and drilled out the center hole a bit. The blade is awesome for cutting wood with the Dremel Saw Max. If you have the ability to drill it out it is a great blade.

As stated in a review or two. The center hole is a tiny bit smaller than the mount on the Dremel SawMax. I used a Dremel rotary tool to grind the hole a little bigger.
