This will allow you to connect the R134a cans you can buy at the big box stores (or from Amazon) to your gauges. Note that the outlet is a 1/2 inch ACME thread. If you have residential style gauge manifold, you will need an adapter to 1/4" SAE flare. This comes in the FJC 6025 conversion kit for gauges. This is a high quality valve and I was really impressed as I had assumed it would be "cheaply" made. To my surprise it is of first rate quality.

It does what it says. Not sure on the price being a good deal as these are available locally for 6$ at the auto parts store. I went with this one because it appeared to be a better brand name than what was in the store. Works great. I've used it with three cans and had no problems.

Works fine but I did not notice it was to be used with R134a hoses only. Had to change fitting on it to used with my R12 lines....not a big deal, just wish I had noticed.

I purchased this screw on model can tap with the adapters for Freon 134 to fit my old A/C gauges. I would definitely purchase this adapter again if needed. It worked exactly as advertised.

It was not as cheap as I thought it would be. I have used it only twice, but it worked just fine, and there was no clue of a leak. Good buy for the money, but not for the professional A/C guy.

Seems to be a good quality can tap. Also seems to hold pressure in the can if you wind up only needing half a can of R134a. Just tighten it down good, and store the half full can of R134a with the can-tap left on top for future use. I like the fact that it has the large faucet style handle instead of the small thumb screw kind you get at autoparts stores. This one seems to be more well made than the thumb screw kind from the autoparts store. This one seems to be more like the quality you would get from an A/C and Refrigerant supply store.

Great product, works well, worth the purchase. I hace used a/c equipment over the year a great deal and think this will work well for a long time, the last one lasted 28 years,not bad.

Nice unit with a comfortable handle on it.Made of solid brass and should last a lifetime.Fits on all the standard R134A cans. Just make sure you tighten it on there well and there wont be any leaking,(like happened to me).I just quickly tightened a little more and I was all set.Definately recommend to purchase.

I BOUGHT THIS TAP BECAUSE OF THE TURN KNOB AND THE DESIGN.THE WING NUT KNOBS DON'T WORK AS SMOOTH AND THE PUNCTURE TYPE TAPS ARE NOT AS SAFE AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED.

Very good quality and smooth operation. It just feels well built by the way it works when you turn the handle. Nice piece !
