good for a beginner..,

This video is very good for the raw beginner on the basic operations (cleaning, sight picture, sighting in, disassambly/reassembly, shooting positions, etc.) of the AR-15. At times it is a little fast going thru steps, but you can always rewind and watch that part again. After reading the marine tech manual several times, this video is a great supplement to have around to get a better basic understanding of the AR-15 operations.

I bought this quite a while ago and watched it frequently to see the AR-15 in action. It's a fun video. Now that the VHS systems are being phased out, I'm going to get another in DVD format.

A must for the beginner,

This video is very informative for the novice. If you already are familiar with the AR then no need for this vid. When I first bought my AR I got this video with it. It really helped me understand how the AR works. The best part was the "maintenance" part of the video. It showed me how to field strip and showed me what to clean how to clean, etc...I enjoyed watching it and learning from Lenny - he is a very good speaker in this video and makes things very clear. |
