Mastering - AD in Server 2008 R2,

Anyone who is new to AD in Server 2008 R2 should get this book. The style is easy to understand, though it could use a few more step-by-step examples, just a nit-pick as I like more examples, it never held me up once. It helped me to setup a test AD Forrest in no time and, when I did have some issues, found out I had just skimmed over parts.
Should be a part of any Windows admin/engineers toolkit. Keep going back to some texts in hard copy, even though I have 2 kindles. If new to Ad in general, try Mastering Server 2008 R2 by Mark Minasi, it is also a GREAT part of my go to books since NT 4.0!

I've been a Windows admin since NT 3.51 but this book still had several pieces of information that where new to me and not just because it's covering the latest version of Windows. Solid chapters on certificate services, scripting and does a good job letting you know what's changed. If you don't have the time to read Minasi's "Mastering" this is a good choice.
