One of the gals at work had this book and said I should read it. As a salesperson, I have read many PMA style books just to keep my head in a decent place and thought this was like that. It was actually much different from the Tony Robbins, Napolean Hill stuff I read, in a good way. Overall it was a nice and easy read, I read it last weekend and have used some of the tips this week and have been in a pretty decent place. Nice book

Many people we meet today are not only unhappy but seem to lack the steps it takes to live a more purposeful life. In MASTERING THE ART OF FEELING GOOD by Wendy Kay we are reminded of the simple truths that life teaches us to live a life where things can not only look better but be better as well.

What I enjoyed the most about the book is that it takes into account the fact that we might have had some issues in our lives that affect the way we look at the world and even our place in it. What Wendy tries to help readers to do is appreciate the fact that no matter what has happened in our past---whether it was self-inflicted or brought upon us---we can live a better life and we deserve a better life, beginning today!

Today we can choose to live in the future and not let the events of the past haunt us or leave us stagnant. There is also the understanding that although we might not be able to forget what has transpired, we can make sure that we don't allow it to shape the person we can be beginning right now. Alot of it has to do with our attitude and what we truly want out of life and from ourselves.

For me it is advice like this delivered in a compassionate yet understanding way that makes this book a must for those who might see themselves as broken and are wondering if there will ever be any relief in sight. What Wendy Kay says is Yes, we can have some relief, but first we must be able to take the medicine.
