About the Author

Mark Gerhard is a 3ds Max Design guru and educator. He was one of the first artists hired by Autodesk to test the first version of this software in 1990, and he wrote many of the tutorials that ship with 3ds Max. He continues to train 3ds Max users. Jeffrey M. Harper uses 3ds Max Design to create architectural and civil engineering visualizations, models, stills, and animations used in computer-based training programs and visual effects.

I did it and Passed the Exams.. the Appendix "C" is the most important chapeter for certification....just read "Cert Objectives" and you'll pass..
For sure you need a good handson Practice hours

Well, this book perfectly describes 3ds Max 2011 judging by number of pages. I should also say that begginer will maybe have hard time with it, but it's definitly worth it. This is top book for learning 3ds Max 2011.
