I met Ben on two occasions at conferences in the late 90's. He was very informative in person and it is great that now with DVD format one can get a better handle on presentation in a way that VHS sucks at. Ben has a knack for not only being a whiz at Photoshop, but translating what he does in a manner that makes you better for it.
I won't go into details, suffice to say that your getting a great deal considering what it costs for airfare, conference fees etc, to see in person - or via the screen what will enhance your way of dealing with, and understanding color. Too many designers are not educated properly on the limitations, breadth (conflicting? not so) and power of good colour design can bring to your work. If you consider yourself a designer but have not had proper education, you better pony up the dough for this one. |
