I have been reading this book since it was delivered. It includes a very interesting combination of topics on the latest in digital photography that are exposed quite well. Nice diagrams and pictures are used to illustrate and explain the different concepts on digital exposure and image capture and processing. It is very informative and also makes reference to the newer software. Unfortunately the letter type is so small that it makes for very uncomfortable reading (almost offensive). It is a shame to see how space is wasted in the book layout instead of using this space to include a bigger type to offer easier and more enjoyable reading.

It looks interesting but the print is so small compared to the average book that it is exhausting to read it. I am returning it.

Very good except for the errors.,

As the other people have said the type is small. The information is very good and informative. The problem is all of the errors. I got through 100 pages, before I was tired of all of the errors. It seems to have an error every couple of pages. The errors are technical, spelling, talking about the wrong photograph, and other errors. I would love to get the second edition with all of the mistakes corrected. It would be a great reference book on photograph and HDRI. Right now it is just a rough draft.

The book provides a good mix of technical information and 'how to' steps. I read the book cover to cover in two days and will be using it as reference as I get into HDRI processing.
