Gary clearly guides you through setting up your saw and cutting exactly on line. He tells you how to build jigs to help with cuts. Gary is a Master trim Carpenter but also a very good teacher. Both for the beginner and pro.

I found the two-DVD set very helpful in understanding how to set up and organize my mitersaw to do casing and baseboard. The measuring and safety tips are especially good.

This entire series is priceless. Don't let the cost discourage you. These DVD's include essential tips which could be used by a beginner but the best part of this DVD series is Katz's setup for professional carpenters. I got a lot of good new insight on cutting molding in position, measurement tricks and the use of jigs for repetitive cuts which really have helped make my trim work faster and more accurate.
