Often laypeople are bombarded with medical terminology that is a mystery. This book demystifies many healthcare terms and gets to the root (Latin)of many words so readers can determine what a word means even if they do not know the definition.

THis is a required book in an herbal studies class which is why I purchased it. It has helped me with my materia medicas and decode what was once a mystery.

After placing my order and waiting several weeks for this item to ship, I contacted the seller and never received a response and still have not received my purchase. Luckily I was not charged, but I have wasted valuable time in my class waiting on this book. I do not recommend this seller AT ALL!!!

This book should be used by every student who is learning terminology. It is easy to understand and uses simple language.

I have several terminology books that I thought I would try but found they were not organized very well. Mastering Healthcare Terminology is an awesome learning tool for Medical Terminology. I am amazed at how fast I learned and able to apply the concepts that I have learned from this book in my coding. My job is much easier now, So if you are looking for a great way to learn Medical Termnology GET this book

I saw this book in the library and decided to buy one. There are many practice exercises to help you get familiar with the terms. The book arrived very early and just as described.

I was not sure about ordering thru a 3rd party, but after looking at the other reviews I decided to order. I did and rec'd my textbook in plently of time b4 winter quarter starts. I give this company a rating of 5+.

After a purchase that I had to return because it was not what was promised, I contacted this seller and ordered Mastering Healthcare Terminology to replace the returned item. I could not be happier. My book came as promised in fantastic condition and within a few days of ordering. I will most definately order from this person again!!!!

This order came in right on time. I was nervous about the shipment arrival date being on a Saturday, and Monday was a holiday. But they came through, and I turned in my assigment on time!

If you're considering purchasing a used version of this text to use for a class, check with your instructor as to whether you'll be expected to use the text's online supplemental material. If it is required, the Access Code in a used book will likely NOT work.

This was a very informative book. I bought it for a friend coz she saw mine last semester. She loved it!
