As an adult, I found this DVD extremely helpful in mastering the basic skills. The tips are laid out in an easy to understand, sequential form that I apply to my training each and every class.The video is clear and concise and would be of great help to any gymnastics beginner. A strong 5 stars!

As it says, the book is for beginners; though, on many of the skills being taught, they assume that you have all the strength necessary, which might take a long time to build up. Also, you need a gym to do most of the skills being taught; though, I'm sure you might be able to find substitutions at home for some of the events. Anyways, great DVD - you'll learn a lot on how to start on these events.

Got this to help my boys. Seems very good but a bit boring and the coach speaking has a flat whinny voice which my kids hate. I too find it grating BUT the guy knows his stuff and I will be employing this material to see where the boys need to improve and hopefully together we will improve their style and strength.There doesn't seem to be much out there like this so I'm grateful to have it and I will buy the next two levels up when/if my boys get there.
