Great book,

I was initially frustrated with PhotoDraw, until I got a hold of Mr. Hunt's book. He not only walks through each of the program's features, but then puts them to use in practical examples. In addition, he doesn't talk down to you, but writes in light and amusing tone. There are great tips and tricks throughout, to circumvent PhotoDraw limitations as well as offer up interesting design hints. The tutorials are great and easy to follow along, and Mr. Hunt does some amazing things with this program! You can also download all of the tutorial files from the book's web site (but I wish it came with a CD). Overall a great book for the money.

I've just finished reading the book, following closely the author's examples. It is indeed a very useful guide to help unlock the features of PhotoDraw 2000. Walks the reader step by step thru' each technique eg 3D effects, Fade out, Special effects, Web animation, etc. My only wish list is for the author to update the book to include new features found in PhotoDraw 2000 version 2 -the book is based on version 1.
