About the Author
Mary Lombardo is a retired teacher who has taught all grade levels from 1 through 6 and has taught reading to at-risk students. For several years she worked in an alternative public school program for homeschooled students, providing curriculum and teaching assistance to parents and half-day instruction to students. She also served as a teacher trainer for the Albuquerque Public Schools.
