This review is from: Masterpieces of Glass: A World History from the Corning Museum of Glass (Corning Museum of Glass Monographs) (Hardcover)
This is a huge 5.4 pound book- definitely "coffee table" size. For each set of facing pages, one is a photo of the glass object described in detail on the facing page. The photos are huge! A good cross section of styles, eras, and regions are covered in this collection. If you want several examples of one type of glass work you should buy a dedicated book. If you want to see a variety of good examples this is a great book. I also own books that are more focused and some of the items in them are also shown in this book. Originally this was quite an expensive book. It is much more reasonable now.
