This was the first CD I bought from Masters of Chant . I am a musican and I love all styles of music from Enigma to Matalica... so from what I heard about this project.. that was enough for me to give it a listen and hear for myself..Wow was this good ..Relaxing , peacful and mistical....I love how they take all the Rock and pop songs and add a gregorian flavor to it..Since I bought this CD I have ordered all the other chapters.. and I haven't heard a bad one yet !!

I have read on here that someone couldn't play this on their Computor but so far all the cd's I bought played fine ...

If you love Gregorian, you will love this album. If you are looking for peace in you life, through music, you may find it here.

I bought this disc because of the excellent ratings it got on Amazon. But if you buy all their albums you will find a lot of the same songs have been repeated on other albums, as was the case with this disc. It is excellent music if this is your first album by them. Otherwise, I could have saved money since it already had most of these songs on my other Chant albums. Unlike earlier reviews which stated you cannot download these albums to your I-Pod, I was able to do that with all of the Chant albums I have.

The version of the CD received stated on the outside of the case "Copy Protected", but that information was not contained in the product description on Amazon at the time I placed the order, nor at the time I received the order.
I could not download it into I-tunes version 9.2.1.5.
The rest of the CD's Masters of Chant III, V & VI were received and worked fine.

Their music is excellent on the other CD's.

I have 3 of their albums, all very relaxing, and find myself enjoying their version of some classic songs more than the originals. I love Simon & Garfunkel but Gregorian's version of Bridge Over Troubled Water (one of my all-time favorite songs, the S&G version) is a version that I enjoy as much as the original.

My favorite Gregorian song is track 1, The Gift. It is such a beautiful song. Sarah Brightman's younger sister, Amelia (aka Violet) has a great voice. This song can definitely choke you up.

I accidentally stumbled across Gregorian when searching for Gregorian chants and I'm glad I did. I am planning on collecting all their albums.

My husband stumbled onto this group and its music on YouTube. We were so impressed (and highly amused) by its take on contemporary music that I had to order several of Gregorian's CDs. The CDs are all ridiculously expensive because they're imports; but if you love the unusual, and--if like my husband and me--you love Gregorian chant, you will find them well worth the money. My only complaint is that they are playable only on CD players--they are not playable on computers. This means I can't listen to them at work, which really bums me out. We sure play the heck out of them at home, though!

I like a good male group and they fit the bill. They have an interesting repetoire and cover the gamut.
