About the Actor

Kostas Metaxas was born in 1961 in Australia and studied BSc at the University of Melbourne.

In 1981 he started his first 'luxury company' - MAS producing the equivalent of a "Ferrari" Hi-End Audio systems which were sold internationally through "High-End Audio" stores.

MAS [Metaxas Audio Systems] received 2 Australian Export Awards, a BHP Industrial Design Award and was a finalist in the Australian Small Business Awards. It also featured prominently in the international Audio Media and in Germany was rated "Absolute Spitzenclasse" - the ultimate standard to which all other audio products should aspire to.

In 1986 he started publishing Vive La Vie [and Vive la Cuisine] and won the contracts to produce Alfa Romeo's Il Quadrifoglio Magazine, consulted for BMW AG in Munich for the BMW Magazine, consulted for B&O in Streuer, Denmark and Vive la Cuisine became the official magazine for the "Chaine Des Rotisseurs" in the Australasian region.

Vive la vie established and continues to enjoy close ties with the Comite Colbert in France [which represents 70 of the biggest names in French Luxury].

In 1998 Kostas became the International Marketing & Business Development Manager for multi-millionaire Nick Paspaley of Paspaley Pearls [the "DEBEERS" of the South Sea Pearl Business] and received the WAFIC Award for Marketing Excellence for his exceptional work.

In 1999, Metaxas was working closely with Saudi-Arabian Billionaire Mr Robert Mouawad [owner of 20 of the world’s largest & historic diamonds]. This was followed by work for Laurence Graff, Maria Gaspari and BHP-Billiton.

Currently Mr Metaxas resides in Australia and apart from editing & producing THE STYLISTS, consults for the international luxury industry as EXERO.COM.
