While there are many forms of Indian music missing, the contents of this CD will thrill anyone who loves classical Indian music. Be prepared for a true listening adventure. I only gave it four stars because, while I think the piece by Ravi Shankar is very good, I would not consider it representative of his best work. However, the other works represent the artists well.This album would be great as an introduction to classical Indian music or a as a valuable addition to any library of Indian music.

Great instrumental music that will hypnotize you. The percussion is amazing, and the sitar sometimes reminds me of classic rock guitar licks
