GREAT movie !!! Hilarious individual characters AND cameos by Candy, Akroyd, Jim Belushi, George Wendt. If you watch it a few dozen times you will catch many subtle lines and sub-plots. Just plain dumb fun if you are in the mood. Honestly one of my favorite movies (and several of my friends). We can quote the whole damn thing.

One of the funniest moview that I have ever seen. A cast of hilarious, though little-known, actors and the best cameo appearances in any movie this decade. If the price would drop then I would but it.

Or better yet, a special edition DVD with accompanying soundtrack CD. In addition to this being an all-around great movie, Lee Ving (from the band Fear), as his character Roy Boy, sings a couple of great country & western type tunes that I'd really like to have on a disc to listen to whenever I want. I won't hold my breath for the DVD or the CD though, people just don't appreciate good cinema these days.

well done parody of the biker scene,

This movie is to bikers what Real Men is to spies and Wise Guys to gangsters. David Rasche is the master of the comedy of understatement - an impish Jack Benny "Who me?" innocence. See it but don't spend $75.00 - wait until the studio drops the price.

A Bikers Review,
This review is from: Masters of Menace [VHS] (VHS Tape)
If you want to see the brother hood and true biker life then this is the one to watch. The movie is a comedy but walks the walk and talks the talk. I rode with a club and have gone on funeral runs and see alot of our trips in this movie.
The bar scene and the restaurant had me ROFLO! The look when they say "all these people are ahead of us". The campfire party was wild. Most bikers are good people and this is how we live and party. Live to ride ride to live!

Hilarious reality!,

I really enjoyed this film. As a former rider with a "club" in the 1970's, I remember those times and people with an insider's view. Contrary to all the Hollywood "biker" movies, this film is a far better representation of the experience of being a club member during that period. The desire to "just have fun", and tweak the insecurities of the "straights" without really hurting anyone, is right on the mark. Also very accurate is the tendency to do things without considering any negative consequences. Hollywood has taken 5% of the "biker" lifestyle, and portrayed it as a continuous confrontational, violent existence. Masters of Menace accurately reveals the other 95%, and the sometimes childish enjoyment of the experience. It brought back lots of good memories!

Masters of comedy,

This movie is one of my all time favorites. It is a slapstick comedy that always makes me laugh. The story line is funny and the comedic incidents in the movie make it worth watching. My favorite part is the camping incident with Smokey the Bear! Buy it, Rent it, or borrow it. Well worth watching.

This movie is one for the ages. Unfortunately it is a very little known movie, but for those of us who are lucky to enjoy it you know what i am talking about. A little known classic.

This movie is a crude, rude, and devilishly clever biker movie. Get this for David Rasche. He's hilarious, as is usual for him when he's in comedy roles.
