5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible Value, November 13, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Masters of the Opera 1642-1926 1-10 (Audio CD)
The recordings are crisp, the performers are big stars. The selections are nicely arranged. Being a Mozart fan, I think the first two discs are worth the price of the entire set. Look at the selections! It's all here and it's all great recordings.

5.0 out of 5 stars Opera Music from Then to Almost Now!, May 26, 2011

This review is from: Masters of the Opera 1642-1926 1-10 (Audio CD)
This album contains a superb collection of opera music and arias from soup to nuts, ending in 1926. Wonderful survey, in chronological order, of the development of opera over the years. Some of the singers may be new to you but they are true professionals and a delight to listen to. Great collection for students and opera lovers alike.
