About the Author

Master's Racewalking is edited by Elaine Ward. It is a compilation of her interviews dating from 1988 to 1995.

Elaine Ward is the Managing Director of the North American Racewalking Foundation, the President of the North American Racewalking Institute (the non-profit arm of the Foundation and presently supervising and supporting the young racewalking athletes at the ARCO Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California.) She is a fitness and competitive racewalking coach, a newspaper editor (U.S. Racewalking Journal) and columnist in National Masters News. She has written spiral bound books on racewalking.
