5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant exposition of our origins and divine nature, April 19, 2004
By
This review is from: A Master's Reflection on the History of Humanity, Part I: Human Civilization, Origins and Evolution (Human Civilization Origins & Evolution) (Pt. 1) (Hardcover)
This book offers a unique understanding of the creation of the universe and human evolution. Ramtha describes a time, if we can call it that, before the "big bang" took place and explains what set it into motion. The information in this book challenges the traditional explanations of creation we find in science, religion, and philosophy, and offers important clues and historical and archaelogocal evidence that show a very different and startling story. Ramtha shows brilliantly that we are ultimately the main actor on the stage of creation, and have always been, but somewhere in our journeys got lost and forgot our true divine origins and nature. This is a must read for everyone interested in the great questions: Who are we? Where do we come from? What is our destiny? How can we get there?
The glossary of terms and concepts and the detailed index included in the book make it very easy to understand the main message from this Master Teacher of ancient wisdom.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very interesting, September 22, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: A Master's Reflection on the History of Humanity, Part I: Human Civilization, Origins and Evolution (Human Civilization Origins & Evolution) (Pt. 1) (Hardcover)
I'm not sure where I stand on the whole Ramtha phenomenon but it's been interesting enough for me to read almost everything written by him, as channeled through J.Z. Knight. I read somewhere that some people 'in the know' can beam information into a person's head and make them think that they're channeling some sort of spirit entity. Who knows? There will always be mysteries in our world and that's what makes it interesting. As for this particular book, here goes:

First, this book and it's companion, part 2, Pearl of Great Wisdom, are out of print and so they're ridiculously expensive. I bought both of mine years ago, and wouldn't sell them because the information is just so interesting I can't bear to part with either of them. What's in the books that make them so valuable? Well, the answers to Earth's history from our original creation to the present. What wouldn't be interesting about that? Here's how it all starts: We are our creators. Yes, that's right, we can plead to God all day long and rail against his/her lack of mercy, but Ramtha says that we are our creators. We made the rules, and sometimes follow them, and we are to blame for what happens here. We spirits made the material world and then set out to play in our creation. We are the ones who made the dinosaurs and in our quest to outdo each other we made monsters.

We then wanted to experience our little 'game' called materialism so we went into the bodies of our creations until we forgot that we were the creators and started blaming 'God' for everything. You can get all this information in Edgar Cayce's books also, and what I find fascinating is that no matter where the information is coming from, or through, none of it contradicts the other.

So, if you have the chance to get a hold of one of these books, buy it. It's absolutely priceless. Have all your questions answered in a clear and easy to understandable way. No matter what the source of the Ramtha material, it's worth listening to. The same can be said for Cayce, other channeled material, and the ancient texts such as the Popol Vuh of the Mayans, the Dead Sea Scrolls, it doesn't matter. What's unique about this book and its companion book, is that all the information is in one place, in chronological order and I could understand it.

Here are some of the chapter headings:
The true origin of humanity
You are creator gods in evolution
unresolved and quintessential questions
habit of manipulation and survival
thought is the source of all existence
emergence of the solar systems
terra, birth of a new hope

One of the most fascinating books I've ever read.
